Horticulture debris includes trees, branches, logs, stumps, grass clippings, leaves, and vegetative matter.
Before potential customers start disposing of landscaping waste from yard and land-clearing businesses, it is important to understand what is considered yard and horticulture debris/waste.
The items listed below are acceptable to bring to The Grove Horticulture Recycling and BioChar facility.
Acceptable:
- Trees, stumps, limbs, roots, and logs
- Tree trimming/branches
- Leaves, and house/garden plants
- Palm fronds, and bushes
- Brush, grass clippings, and lawn edging
Not Acceptable:
- Household waste
- Construction waste
- Bricks, concrete, and asphalt
- Household appliances
- Metal, tiles, and stones
- Rock
- Tires
- Furniture
- Plastics
Horticulture Recycling
The Grove Horticulture Recycling and BioChar use an Air Burner Firebox, to recycle the debris that is obtained by customers. The Air Burner Firebox was designed to support the burning of wood and vegetative waste quickly without damaging air quality.
The Air Burner FireBox is an innovative way to fight global warming and reduce the release of black carbon caused by Biomass. The Air Burner Firebox is an air pollution control device and allows up to 13 tons of debris to be burned in an hour with little to no smoke.
The FireBox is the latest technology in providing an end solution to lower cost, emissions control, and a way to eliminate horticulture debris on site.
